Dimethylformamid

DMF is a clear transparent solvent. Its strong solvency power makes it suitable for demanding applications. Since 2007 Helm Japan has been marketing the DMF produced by Chemanol in Saudi Arabia. With regular supply from Damman, we offer Isotank and Lorry deliveries throughout Japan to service our customers. The very stable product quality of our supplier and our quality control are able to satisfy even the most demanding applications. Our DMF has gained acceptance at major consuming applications in the country. The Dimethylformamide we offer is produced from Carbon monoxide, methanol and Ammonia via an on-purpose process, which allows us stable supply and quality.

Examples of applications

DMF is a polar aprotic solvent with high boiling point; it finds application in polyurethane coatings, mostly for synthetic leather manufacture, but also as reaction solvent for the synthesis of pharmaceutical or agrochemical active ingredients, as an extraction solvent for butadiene and benzene for the petrochemical industry and eventually as solvent for printed circuit board production.
