Euroxide LO/A is a Lauryldimethylamine Oxide based on natural fatty amine oxidized with Hydrogen Peroxide. It’s nature is non-ionic, so it is compatible with anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic compounds. It is used in cosmetic and household applications as well as in industrial cleaners as a surfactant, having different functions in recipes: improving mildness of products for the skin, building viscosity of formulations, enhancing foam and improving detergency properties. It is active in wide range of pH – acidic and alkaline, resistant to oxidizing substances like Hydrogen Peroxide and Sodium Hypochlorite.
Examples of applications
Euroxide LO/A is used in personal care products like shampoos, liquid soaps and shower gels as well as in in household products, especially dish washing liquids, hard surface cleaners.
Due to resistance to extreme pH conditions and oxidizing agents it is widely used in household and industrial cleaners as well as disinfecting products containing acids, alkalis, Hydrogen Peroxide or Sodium Hypochlorite.
Due to its nonionic nature it can be combined with all type of other surfactants : nonionic, anionic, cationic and amphoteric.
